Despite the restriction, BestChange is in contact with the central bank to resolve the issue. Circulating and advertising digital currencies are prohibited in Russia, although their use for international payments and mining is legal. According to Roskomnadzor, the ban on BestChange stems from legal violations in the financial sphere, but further details were not disclosed. BestChange suspects new crypto regulations or issues with a service-using entity may have contributed to the block.
